In 2000, Cathy Neich established her own image consultancy business,
Cathy’s Niche, based on the desire to help women look and
feel their best through colour, style and correct make-up application.
Creating the “Wow” factor for a client is Cathy’s
intention … “My work is very rewarding and it is quite
satisfying when a client is happy. I enjoy helping women maximise
their personal presentation”.
With psychological research showing that appearance counts for
55% of an impression created, voice 35% and what you actually
say 10%, it is obviously crucial to dress and look the part!
Cathy’s corporate background has stood her in good stead
for a career in the image and beauty industry. Trained in colour
and style with The Australian Image Company, Cathy has also been
trained and assessed by Napoleon Make-up Academy. Her services
include individual or group image and make-up consultations,
quarterly image and make-up application workshops, and mobile
bridal make-up. Wardrobe planning and audits are also a favourite
of Cathy’s, “We have so much untapped potential behind
those closed doors. Showing a client the opportunity in their
own wardrobe is quite powerful and it can be done easily and
within a budget.”
Based in Warriewood on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Cathy has completed numerous personal development courses and has tertiary qualifications in Leadership & Management with distinctions. Having worked in an Executive Assistant and Marketing & Promotions role for over 10 years, Cathy’s work experience and qualifications has enabled her a strong foundation to build her own image and make-up artistry business. Clients include business executives, brides, school leavers, mums, and business owners. She is regularly invited to be Guest Speaker to the clientele of numerous fashion & accessory boutiques and hair & beauty salons, and her corporate clients include businesses such as Foxtel, Nutrimetics, CSIRO, and Roche Pharmaceuticals.
In 2007 Cathy became an associate member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) and pledges to uphold the AICI Code of Ethics. She has also achieved First Level Certification with AICI which is an internationally recognized qualification based on successfully passing a written exam covering the essential information of visual appearance, verbal & non verbal communication. Her enthusiasm and acceptance of continually changing trends in the fashion and beauty industries allows a modern, fresh and individual approach to her work with clients of all ages. |
